WHO

Abode Impact is a specialist team
combining expertise across social impact
and residential investment. We offer
asset-backed investment delivering social
impact.

We are incubated by Mill Group , a specialist
investment manager with 20 year track
record in real asset investment and
management.

WHY

There is clear evidence that wheelchair
users are an underserved market, and
many have the financial resources to rent
a property.

30,000 1 London households have high level
accessible housing needs that are not being
met.

28,000 2 Londoners in 2010 were attempting
to move to somewhere more suitable to cope
with a disability.

39% (700,000) 3 of UK households with an
identified need for accessible housing have
incomes in the top half of the income
distribution of the population as a whole.

WHAT

Abode Impact will launch the first
accessible housing fund for London,
targeting financial returns and social
impact.

The fund will purchase 1 and 2 bedroom new
build flats in Outer London. These homes will
be adapted for wheelchair users and located
close to accessible public transport links.
